Fiasco Dinner show, Dixie Stampede

This post has me thinking we need to see this show. A night away from WDW would do us good. When tickets are purchased are the seats assigned at that time (like Hoop Dee Doo Review) or do they asisgn your seats when you check in the night of your performance?

Thanks
For Dixie Stampede, your seats are assigned at the time you purchase your tickets, so the earlier you purchase, the closer to the action you'll be. In all honesty, there isn't a bad seat in the house. We've seen the show twice (the regular version once, the Christmas show another). One time we were on the side in one of the top rows, the second time we were in the first row but on the end. The view was great either way. BTW, when you purchase your tickets, you'll be asked if you want to sit with the North or with the South. At that time you can ask which "side" they still have the "better" seats available for.

Hope this helps. Have a great time, I'm sure you'll love the show.

I have two boys and looking for a dinner show. One is 14 and one will be 13 the night of the show. Which show will be best for their age group? Dixie??

I saw DS at Mrytle Beach and enjoyed it very much. The food was good, and the show and horsemanship very entertaining. After the show the horses were stationed along the walls so that the customers could talk to the riders and pet the horses from the stands. I don't know if all of the DS places do this.
