I've done a search about Dixie and not much comes up. Can you guys let me know what the menu is (that's not on the web site either), drinks? and the kind of a little review of the show.
Also, where is it located? Any bad seats? All info very appreciated!!!
Here's the menu:
A Mouth-Watering Tender Whole Rotisserie Chicken
Delicious Hickory Smoked Barbecued Pork Loin
Dixie Stampede's Original Creamy Vegetable Soup
Scrumptious Homemade Biscuit
Hot Buttered Corn on the Cob
Tasty Herb-basted Potato
Dixie's very own Specialty Dessert (Apple turnover when we were there)
Unlimited Pepsi, tea or coffee (Also, you can now have wine with your meal included in the regular price.)
Dixie Stampede is located on Vineland Road right next to the Orlando Premium Outlets; you can see it from I-4.
There really are no bad seats. We've been seated along the sidelines, midway up and also front row in the end zone. The view was great either way.
The show is a fun competition between competitors from the north and the south. When you purchase your tickets you have to choose which side you want to sit on, then during the show you cheer for your side. The horses are great with terrific riders, they also have ostrich races (with riders!), pig races, dancers, comedy. It's just a great all-around show. The pre-show is very good also but that's where they'll try to get extra $$ out of you for drinks and souvenirs. They also take a family photo before you enter the pre-show and then come around during dinner to sell it to you. They don't really pressure you, just wanted to let you know in advance.
Also for your DD the horse lover, if you get there early enough, all the horses are on display outside in their stalls so she can get up close and personal. My DS LOVED this!
Obviously, we're big fans, but if your family liked Arabian Nights, I can't imagine you not loving Dixie Stampede. And the food at DS is better!
