I swear I've seen this asked before but I can't find anything by searching....

I'll be paying for parking at the FFI. Last time we stayed we were always able to find a spot ourselves.

If we do use the valet parking - how much do ya'll tip, if any, since you are already paying for parking?

I would tip whatever you normally tip for valet regardless of location. I also tip between $3 and $5 depending on the location. When I stayed at the Courtyard Marriott Theme Park Entrance, I generally tipped $5 per time (the daily valet parking rate was $20). I don't think the daily flat fee really has much bearing on the tip amount because most places I've parked that have valet charge either by the hour or a flat amount for parking. Realistically, $18 per day for valet parking does not seem that expensive to me given the prices of other self-parking and valet parking locations nearby.

Good advice, thanks!

Was this at a place where you already paid a flat fee per day for parking? I am thinking $3 would be plenty since I'm already paying $18 per day?
Yes. I generally tip $3 when I use my car and $5 when I check out. The last time I used valet in the area, I stayed at Grand Californian. I didn't use my car during my stay, so I only did the $5 tip when I left. They charge a really hefty valet parking fee, but I am sure they aren't giving that to the grunt workers.
