Few questions

Sorry if these have been asked before.

1) How do you be "the family" to open MK? The ones up on the train station when the train rolls in?

2) Same with parades. At least in AK, I saw a family on one of the floats.

3) I had heard you can't pay to stay in the castle over night, yet someone recently told me that you can, for an obscene amount of money (something like $12k a night).

exactly. It's completely random and the CMs who choose like to think they are surprising someone so it probably won't work to outright ask them to choose you.

You can't stay in the castle suite, but VIPs can (Tom Cruise did) and I'm sure it can be arranged for Make A Wish or other organizations like that. Sometimes they do have contests where the prize is a night there.

When we were there in Feb there was a little girl about 3 or 4 dressed up like Jessie from toy story. The CM thought she was so cute that she picked that young family to open the MK that day.
