Few Questions on Port Orleans Riverside

I have heard that they are renovating the French quarter side and will then be starting on the Riverside section. Does anyone have any idea when this might start??

We would like to stay there for our honeymoon in December, do you know if the renovations in the French quarter affect the Riverside?

Also when do Disney bring out Annual Pass rates for December?

There's a lot of rumor that the French Quarter renovation will be completed this spring. I would assume a riverside rehab wouldn't be too far off from that. However, I've been reading that all of Riverside won't be closed. Because Riverside is so much more expansive than the French Quarter, they won't have to close the whole thing.

What I would do if I were you is to make a reservation for Riverside. You may end up someplace that is scheduled for rehab and get an offer to upgrade to a deluxe. (Don't count on it....it's just a possibility....)

Also, AP rates for December in 2003 came out in the beginning of September.
