Few questions for Via Napoli, Sci Fi, and buffets

I have all my ADRs all set and I have few questions.

1. Via Napoli - can individual pizza be splitted into 2 toppings? It's just 2 of us and we are planning to order pasta and pizza but I would love to try Pizza Carciofi and I know my son would want pepperoni. I think order 2 pizzas and pasta might be too much?

2. We have ADR for Boma, Biergarten, and Garden Grill. Are sodas (ice tea) included with the price of the buffet?

3. Sci Fi - I saw Pickled Apple Slaw on one of the side, what exactly is that? Sounds refreshing than fries. Can we ask to substitute sides in Sci Fi if we order meal that comes with sides?

1) Yes

2) Sodas are included for sure. I believe ice tea is as well but I've never asked so I don't know for sure.

3) Not sure what apple slaw is. I assume that it is thin stick slices of apple that have been pickled in vinegar and mixed with a bit of mayo/creamy dressing. I have been able to substitute sides in the past at other restaurants.

@DexLaabDeeDee, thank you so much. Able to split personal pizza to 2 different toppings is a great news. Now I get to try both. At least I wasn't too excited about Via Napoli but now I can't wait.

Keep in mind that if you're on the Dining Plan you have to choose one of the 4 pizza options. And also if youre on the DP, they might not let you split the individual pizza. If youre paying out of pocket, it'll be fine.

@goofyintoronto, thank you for the info. We did CS DP this past April and we didn't like it. We felt to get money's worth we had to eat most expensive items all the time and since we are not "snack" "must have dessert" people, it was waste for us and end up bring alot of candies home.

This trip is our "food" trip so hoping to enjoy all the unique restaurants in WDW so we'll be paying out of pocket. You just gave another reason we made the right choice not buying the DP.

I hear you about wanting to maximize the value on the DP. I find myself trying to order the most expensive item just to get a good value. i much prefer paying OOP. I hope you enjoy Via....they have THE BEST pizza! The pepperoni and quattro fromaggi are my faves. Plus my fave pasta dish is the candele. So good!

Is quattro fromaggi 4 cheese pizza? Did you have their spaghetti before? My son is running Wine & Dine so he wants to load up on carbs so we are doing 2 Italian restaurants in one day. Lunch at Mama Melrose, dinner at Via Capoli.

I have read candele is good so hopefully I can pursuade him to try candele rather tan spaghetti.

I had the apple slaw. It's very vinegary. Like peeled apples really thin to look like coleslaw strips.

As much soda as you can drink which for our family means gallons and gallons of diet coke after a hot Florida day.

I liked it. That's exactly why I got it - I was tired of fries!

Yes, the buffets that include soda in the base price also include iced tea.
