Few questions about ESPN restaurant

We are going in September and the menu seems good. I heard they do not take reservations. If we go during the week, around 6, is there usually a wait? Also, is it super loud in the restaurant? My mother is coming with us and she hates loud restaurants. Thanks

It's a sports bar and sports bars are usually loud if there are any sporting attractions going on. Could be NFL, could be college football, could be baseball going on at that time.

Yes, it's going to be loud, especially if there is a game or sporting event of interest being broadcast.

This place even has televisions in the bathroom, I wouldn't expect it to be quiet at any time really.

Definitely loud. TVs are everywhere you look. As far as crowd, it will be depend on if there's a sporting event that night. When we went on a Sunday during football season, we had to get there opening in order to get a table. However, I have heard that during times when theres no sporting event, it's not as bad. Additionally, there are a lot of tables in the bar area that are first come first served where you can just walk up to.

Assuming there is no major sporting event taking place you shouldn't have any problems getting a table in their dining room area or just walking up to a booth or high top table in their bar area.

As for how loud it will be once again I say that depends on what sporting events are taking place at that time. Now in both the dining room and bar area there will be a huge TV with the sound on, so that should be the only thing with noise that you will hear.

A heads up about the sporting event vs. no sporting event crowd level theory- We were there last September and tried to walk up for a table on a Saturday and there was a party of 30, a party of 6, and a party of 43 waiting with no game on. (I think it was a convention crowd). A couple days later during the week we walked up during the same time of the night with zero wait while there was a pre season football game on that drew a local crowd but still left tables open. If you do decide to go I would plan it for a weekday and avoid the weekend. The noise wasn't too loud except some team chanting during a good play. It was pretty normal besides that but if noise really bothers her she might think its too loud.

We absolutely love ESPN Club.

We went there, I believe on a Wednesday or Thursday around 6 and there were only a handful of other tables. Everyone was very nice and it was surprisingly the most relaxing meal of the trip. I would highly recommend.

You might get lucky and catch it on a relatively quiet night, but chances are it's going to be fairly loud. If that's a deal-breaker I'd go elsewhere.

September is a pretty heavy sports month, so there will likely be some events of interest on any given night.

We went once and they were broadcasting a radio show from the restaurant. It was SO LOUD! I mean ear piercingly loud. We would have left, but DS was starving.

We ate in the dining room on Friday night around 6:30. I think the loudest noise was the music they play during commercials on the TV. But you could definitely hear the TV at all times. I think the bar seemed busier and noisier.

We had a nice dinner, LOTS of food and reasonably priced.
