Im in the same boat as you Dave....but DWDisney's pics are so crisp and clear and full of depth....Ive always wanted to be able to take a good picture. The fireworks shots are unbelievable!!!

And like I said when we met...man, your kids are just too cute!!!!

Thanks for the compliments. Those pics were taken with a Nikon D40 and D200 with various lenses (Nikkor 18-55mm, Nikkor 55mm f2.8 macro, Sigma 24-70mm f2.8, & Nikkor 55-200mm VR). The first pic of the rig was taken with a Palm Pre phone.....as was this one.

4400 sq ft, but so cluttered I barely have enough room to back it in there. I need to do about 3 days of junk hauling.

My granddad used to run a 4x4 customization and repair shop out of here, but he is retired now and let me have the place. It is nice for storing the camper and working on it. I can back it up under the Rotary lift and raise it off of the ground.

BTW, I forgot to say that we met one morning when I was out looping on the bike. It was nice talking to you.

Good equipment won't guarantee good pics, but it helps.

Like everyone else, I think your pictures are amazing!! I would LOVE to have a decent camera, but even if I did, my pictures would not turn out like yours, so I'm not wasting my money. You either have the gift to take good pictures or you don't...you obviously have it.

i wasgonna ask what camera too! I just ordered a Canon sx20is and will start taking photography classes this coming spring. Not shooting to be a pro just better at taking photo since i love to take them
