few last minute flight questions

just got done doing our on board check in

both of us got pre tsa select--always glad to see that

we are leaving out of Chicago to Vancouver to catch the wonder on Monday

but our boarding passes don't say which terminal--we were talking to a friend of our who said that some neighbor of theirs went to international since she going to germany--she was luftonsa which he said was part of united so she had to go all the way to the domestic terminal

we are on air Canada--Im thinking we should go to the international our passes don't say
a few years ago we were on British to London and last year American to Barcelona both times we just went right to international

also is it still necessary to call and verify the flight--DH cousin didn't call and the flight was changed to leave earlier so she missed the flight--last year on SW when I called the girl said since I did on line check in they already had all the information they needed so it wasn't necessary to call--somehow I feel better if I call but if its totally uncessary I wont

It's an international flight, so I would go to the international section of the airport. That's what we did when flying to Vancouver from LAX in June.

If you're already checked in, I don't see how they could change the flight to be any earlier. But if worried, check your flight's status online. I wouldn't call- that would take too long.

You can go onto the Chicago airport page: flychicago.com . Put in your flight and it will tell you the gate.

But look at it online. Since you did online checkin, you likely looked to see if the time was the same.

Did she check in online at all? I think I t’s unusual for a flight with the same flight number be to be made earlier, so either there was weather she didn’t know about (keep aware of big weather everywhere! We had a crazy awful day of travel along the west coast once because of awful weather in the east, because the planes couldn’t get out of their airports to get to us), or they had actually changed more about her flight and she missed the change.

After booking, check on your flight regularly. Log in to your airline account and make sure all is well.

There is no need to call (unless you’ve seen it has changed and the change doesn’t work for you), but you do want to look in on it every so often.
