Few firsts, friends & H. P. an Oct. TR - New 3/4 - THE END...

We arrived at our destination
Disney2010711.jpg

Someone wanted their photo taken there.

Entrance way
Disney2010713.jpg

We started to head down the center road. Crowds not too bad.
Disney2010715.jpg

Halloween stuff
Disney2010716.jpg

We decided this would be our first ride.
Disney2010717.jpg

This ride was so much fun. Picture Muppets at DHS. Kind of. You become sardines in a room and u see Pinocchio come on the screen. Then a few more characters. Then you go into a theater, sit down and no lap bars or anything. Then you off on a chase which is so fun. The seats moved and different elements happened. It was so much fun and I hope Disney gets a ride like it soon.

When we came out look who we saw.
Disney2010719.jpg

I love Scooby.
Disney2010720.jpg

Next up we decided to go on
Disney2010722.jpg

Disney2010724.jpg

A few props on the way to the door.
Disney2010725.jpg

That cow better not fly into me.
Disney2010726.jpg

First you see a pre-show then you go into a large warehouse it feels like and you stand on bleachers it feels like. Then you watch a tornado hit the town below. It does get windy and hot and if you r in the wrong spot wet. Dark pics. Sorry

Disney2010731.jpg

Here comes the heat.
Disney2010732.jpg

Disney2010733.jpg

Ok attraction, not sure if I would do it again.

We walked on some more.

Going to stop because next up r pics and videos.

One thing I like about U.S. is Starbucks. They have it in the parks. LOL

Up next...

Someone rises from the grave..

Great pix of those 2 attractions !!If we ever go I am now confident that Twister is Okay and sounds like Shrek too If no seatbelts I am okay with it:rotfl2:

I love Shrek too! I always felt like I was the only one.....

I am totally with you about the fact that U.S has Starbucks. I miss good coffee when I'm at Disney. I hate Nescrape!

Those were some very nice pictures, I might just have to go once just to see the Mystery Machine, I love:lovestruc Scooby!

Starbucks yep that is a plus, Disney faux coffee is :sad2:

I was also dissapointed with the Disney hot chocolate.

I understand where Vinny is coming from on the idea of a cruise, no land anywhere, I'd probably really freak out. That and the sittting with a person at dinner that is a , that scares me too.

(Off topic, again, but I had to share. We have to go down to Punta Gorda, FL for a work thing and are going to stay 2 nights at WDW. I got the Beach Club, AP rate standard room:woohoo: It just came up this morning and we leave Monday.:yay:) Need anything??Seriously.

I really like seeing all your pictures from Universal since we have never been there! What kind of ride is Spiderman? Is it a roller coaster? Shrek sounds like fun, and I would totally ride Twister at least once -- I love that movie!

I might try this side of Universal. It look like an empty park I guess everyone was over in the Harry Potter side.

I thought Shrek was fun too! :thumbsup2 I had gone through Twister when it first opened.....what a waste of time!!! It was hot, long line & it was nothing more than standing there watching what was supposed to be a twister??? Boring!!! I saw the Mummy ride in your pics......did you ride??????? I did!!

I love your Universal studios update so far. I haven't been there since before Kaylee was born over 10 years ago. Maybe in a year or two well plan a day or two to visit. Starbucks is a plus :) nothing worse than Disney coffee.

Thanks.
U don't need seat belts on it. It was so much fun, one of my favorite rides there.

Nope, I am in the club with ya. :lmao:
Dunkin Donuts should go into Disney.

It is definitely seeing once. I was like a kid in a candy store when I saw Scooby. I started smacking Vinny's arm. :lmao:
I don't think I ever had the hot chocolate there.
Some of his family want to do a Norwegian Cruise where it is freestyle dining. We shall see. Alaska might be calling next year.
That is exciting. We are not going till June 3rd for Gay Days. Should be fun.
Nope I am good. When I go down I need the Mickey pens but I can hold off and wait. I do miss that store we had here in NYC. Have a great time. BC is where I am going to wait list for October.

More like Tower of Terror. U sit in a car like that but it is really jerky and bouncy.
Twister was ok but the pre-show was so long I felt but not as long as something coming later.

I might try this side of Universal. It look like an empty park I guess everyone was over in the Harry Potter side.
We enjoyed this side of the park. We purchased their fastpass option (u have to pay for it) and it worked as the lines were about 20 minutes long on each but when u have 1 day u want to try to see as much as possible.

I was disappointed by what Twister was but I think it should be done once.
I did not ride The Mummy. I was afraid I would not get on and I did not want to test the seats.

I love your Universal studios update so far. I haven't been there since before Kaylee was born over 10 years ago. Maybe in a year or two well plan a day or two to visit. Starbucks is a plus :) nothing worse than Disney coffee.
Thank you.
Hope u get back there soon.
I add lots of milk and splenda to my coffee there. :lmao:

Scott you and I are children of Saturday morning cartoons, I think that is why we both LOVE Scooby so much. Saturday morning was the highlight of my week, back in the day.:rotfl:

Gay days will be really fun. I know some folks who attend and they said the energy is fantastic, and it is truly magical. I need to go and show my support.

that is very true. I did love my Saturday morning cartoons.

I cannot wait to go even though nit is a short trip. I have heard so many good things about it.

Next up was a sit down attraction.
Disney2010738.jpg

Not a ride but a show. I remember seeing this years ago so I thought why not. We had about a 5 minute wait before they let us in to find seats.

The entrance.
Disney2010739.jpg

Fountain in front of theater.
Disney2010740.jpg

We sat down and waited. The stage.
Disney2010742.jpg

The show was about to begin. The Mummy.
Disney2010744.jpg

Disney2010746.jpg

Here is the star of the show, Beetlejuice.
Disney2010747.jpg

He hi fived me on his way by. LOL
Disney2010748.jpg

The rest of the singers come out.
Disney2010749.jpg

Disney2010750.jpg

Disney2010751.jpg

Disney2010752.jpg

EEK!!! She scared me.
Disney2010754.jpg

Then the smoke started
Disney2010755.jpg

and when the smoke cleared it was a better looking group. Well same ones but in better clothes. LOL
Disney2010757.jpg

Beetlejuice's back up dancers.
Disney2010758.jpg

A short video clip of the show. Their version of "Jessie's Girl" and Bon Jovi's "You Give Love A Bad name".

Time to relax. LOL
Disney2010761.jpg

I thought the show was fun. It was a little cheesy and some of it a little dirty if your an adult and can understand what they mean. I would recommend it if you go.

After the show we decided to grab lunch. We went right next door to Louie's Italian.
Disney2010765.jpg

Vinny:
Minestrone soup
Pepperoni slice

Scott:
Breadsticks
Pepperoni Slice
Soda

It was a good lunch. It was comparable to a counter service at Disney.

Next up we went to
Disney2010767.jpg

and what a Disaster it is. The pre shows are so long. I just found it mostly boring. Then at the end it is a 20 second ride. Definitely not worth it. My only disappointed ride there.

Ok going to stop. Sorry so few words but I let the pics talk for the show.

Up next....

We go to Amity..........

Nope, I am in the club with ya. :lmao:
Dunkin Donuts should go into Disney.

:cloud9: Dunkin Donuts is my favorite coffee....my dad raised me on it. Coffee drinker since the age of 6...and anyone who says coffee stunts your growth, I'm 5'10", how tall would I have been if I didn't drink coffee? :lmao: I would seriously pass out if Disney struck a deal with them! :lovestruc

I have never seen the Beetlejuice show! Although I have to say, I am intrigued by the parental discretion sign. :rotfl2:

That was interesting, I never liked the movie Beetle Juice. Although I majorly:lovestruc Alex Baldwin. If I ever make it over to see Scooby I might check it out.
Dunkin Donuts coffee and some munchkins sounds good right now, I'd never fall asleep:).

Great pictures!

Cool! Love short updates. Much easier to get caught up. Sounds like fun so far, and it makes me get more excited for my trip. There are some pics here you post of attractions that I just plain "forget" about (like Hall of Presidents) that I think we should also experience next time.

Thanks!

Love your Universal updates!
Beetlejuice is a blast from the past. I remember that movie.
We were thinking of going this summer, but not sure if it's worth it.

What camera did you use? I want to buy a new camera.
