I've rented it for this weekend and can't wait to see it - I've read that it's a good movie!

We enjoyed this movie - even though we aren't Red Sox fans! (It helps if you like baseball though!)

yeah i thought it would be stupid, but i really liked it. i thought it was great.

Okay I really need this weekend off...I thought it was the name of someone she was dating. :rotfl2: I opened the thread to find out who he was.

It is a super cute movie we laughed the entire way through it.

I saw it on the airplane coming back to NJ for Disneyland Ca. Very funny.
I saw a lot of promo on the film. They actually shot the last scene at the real Red Sox World Series game. They got special permission to be on the field as the Red Sox were celebrating their World Series Win.
I have a family full of NYG, NYM and NYJ fans, so I know how fanatic one can be when it comes to sports teams. This film made me smile and acutally laugh out loud on the airplane (wearing my earphones).

I saw it on my b-day with my bff and we were laughing so much we got a few shut up you darn kids! it was one of the best b-days we were having soooo much fun! its realllllly good and it is hilarious and my friend is a red sox fan and she liked it a bit more than i did but it is a good movie!

I have to tell you my husband and daughters were at that game and were somewhat annoyed that Jimmy Farrell and Drew Barrymore ran down on the field to film the end of their movie.

They are huge Red Sox Fans and felt that the ending of that game belonged to the Red Sox, not to Hollywood. Boston has waited a long time to win the World Series. I did not care either way, but will see this movie.....as I do like both actors..

Thanks for the reviews..

WOW!! They came all the way from Boston to see the game?! They must be big fans.

Sorry to rehash an old thread, but we just saw this movie last night. Even though I'm a Cardinals fan, I still loved it. It was very funny and even DH liked it. He was a little miffed when they made a slight dig at the Royals, but I told him he'd be getting me back at the end of the movie (I already knew about the last scene). It's a small sore spot in Cardinals history, but it was really cool to see Busch Stadium in the movie--especially since it will be gone soon.

I just watched it last night with my dad- we both really liked it!!
