My DVR is set. The next season, Charles v Diana doesn't interest me, but Bette v Joan? Absolutely! Baby Jane is one of my all time faves!

Interesting that FX is going with Sunday night for this. Lots of competition.

It totally lived up to what I expected! I am so thrilled with this series! I can't wait for the next episode! (I know I used a lot of exclamation points, but I was very worried that this would disappoint my expectations...and it didn't!!!)

I am disappointed this is ending. Now I want to see Baby Jane, Charlotte and Straitjacket again. Another good '60s Crawford film is "I Saw What You Did" as well as Bette's "Dead Ringer".

Looks like this will continue for some time as a 2nd season is already guaranteed and a 3rd season looks very likely.

The plan is for this to go like American Horror Story; each season is a new show with new settings. The second season will be about some other "feud" between well-known people.

My favorite part of the Joan/Bette story is the Oscar acceptance stunt. I thought the young actresses playing Bancroft and Page hit it out of the park with the pity for Crawford.

BTW, one of the interesting things about Sarandon and Lange is that they are quite a bit older than Davis and Crawford were at the time. Sarandon is 70, playing the 53yo Davis, and Lange is 67, playing the 57yo Crawford.
