Or should I not waste fastpass on this bc it’s a show and everyone gets in as long as you’re there before it starts?

Fastpass has zero advantage. The fp window ends before the show starts. You are not guaranteed seating if you show up after the window. Fp and standby start showing up around the same time. Fp gets seated in Lion section, to start with anyways; if you really want to be a lion the best way is to have a fp. If you have no other tier 2’s you’re interested in, then you may as well.

I wouldn't waste a FP.

To clarify, it is definitely a show worth seeing and ee do it every time. I just dont think a FP is necessary and there are better uses of one.

As the others have said, you don't need a FP but I like to use one. I like to sit in the top row and that's pretty much the only way I can be pretty sure of sitting there. Just a personal preference of mine because then I can lean my back against something. Otherwise, the bench seats don't offer any back support.

We had much better seats without using a fastpass.
I do too.
I don't use a FP for FoLK either, but I don't know what would stop you from choosing
those much "better" seats if you DID have a FP.

FoLK is my favorite attraction and I have yet to ever use a FP for it. I have seen people enter at the last minute and get better seats.
