We are taking DS2 for his first trip hopefully this December :dogdance: as with most toddlers, mine is not very patient. :sad2: Where would the best place to watch the parade be considering getting a good spot with a stroller with the least amount of time to wait? What time would the parade get to that area and when should we get there? Thanks!! :lovestruc

For us, I sat and saved our spot with the stroller, while my husband took my kids (ages 4 & 1.5 last year) to get a Dole Whip. We were in Frontierland and we probably got there about 30-40 minutes early. The parade starts in Frontierland/Adventureland so it will get there pretty soon after 3:00.

I also have a DS2, and he LOVES the parade. We always watch it in Frontierland (anywhere between the shooting gallery and Pecos Bill's) and usually arrive 30 minutes before and always get a front row spot. If you are walking that way along the parade route and see tons of people lined up, keep walking towards the back/start of the route. It's always less crowded there.

To pass the time, it has become tradition to get DS a Mickey ice cream bar. He sits in his stroller, makes a huge mess, and by the time he's done and cleaned up, we are usually within 10 minutes of the parade start.

Love this idea! Thank you!! I would definitely try the Mickey Bar or maybe some other snack too! :)
