So looking to catch the Festival of Fantasy Parade in Frontierland, maybe in front of the Country Bear Jamboree area. Do they tape off the parade path? Thinking of showing up early, but don't want some schmuck(s) getting right in front of us just before parade time . Thanks!

Yes, they tape it off and monitor it. But if you find a spot to sit folks will suddenly appear last minute and get in front of you if you are not right up at the tape line.

As soon as I saw the thread title it literally started playing in mine.

@DWeav we like to stand right in front of the Town Hall building, near Pecos Bill's - you are in the shade and not a lot of people can get in front of you.

There are some large "crates" that we normally sit on in that area. We stand on them when the parade comes by and have a pretty good view.

They use tape and they come along to put in poles that have ropes along the way.

Look on the ground for mini ... little metal "manholes" They will pop these caps out to put the pole in. If you sit near one of them you will know exactly where the pole/rope for the front of the viewing area will be.
