Festival of Fantasy Parade FP+??

Has anyone had a FP+ for the new fantasy parade, what do you get with a FP+? Trying to figure out if I should use 1 of our 3 for it?? Thanks

I booked it for our 3rd FP+ one day, then read here that several people do not recommend it. They said you still have to get there early, and the parade does not arrive there until 20 minutes after the official parade starts, so it's a long wait. And people stand up in the FP section so the view can be bad. I have not changed my FP+s yet, and I am very curious to see if people here recommend it or not. I do want to have a good spot to see the parade, because the pics look amazing.

We used our FP twice for the FOF parade during our May trip. We thought it was well worth it but I know opinions do vary.

Parade arrives at the hub about 3:15.

You are waiting in the direct sun. You can bring an umbrella for pre-parade shade.

The area is not crowded and you do have a great view.

You can take pictures with the castle in the background which is very nice.

You check in / enter on one side (near Tomorrowland) - it can be confusing if you don't know where you are going. The whole area is roped off and CMs are watching to make sure people don't sneak in.

We will use FP+ again for the parade. It doesn't save you wait time (IMO ) but you get to stand in a great area that is not crowded.

You get an uncrowded place to wait for and to view the parade. And that is about all you get.

You don't get to go in at the last minute. There are no seats or shade in the viewing area. But nobody will be pushing in front of you or sticking their kids on their shoulders at the last second.

The downside is you do have to check in pretty early to get a good spot, so you don't save much time. And there is not a lick of shade, so you sit there baking in the sun for a really long time, waiting for the parade to get to the Hub.

What time do you have to be at the location? The FP says 2:45 to 3:05.....can we arrive earlier? I assume not later.

I might consider it for a fourth (or more) FP+ for the day if nothing else interesting was available, but there's plenty of good places to watch the parade and you don't really need to show up early. MK is a place that's FP heavy, so I would not use one of my 3 for it. Do see the parade though...its a good one!
