'fess up! Who took all the Mickey heads?

I went to the local Home Depot yesterday to pick up some lime green Mickey heads for my trip. Well, there were only 4 left! There were plenty of the other colors. I'm now seriously lacking in Mickey heads. Guess I have to hit the other Home Depot in the area. So 'fess up...who wiped them out?

THD sells Disney paints. The paint samples are the shape of a certain mouses' head. Members of the DIS wear the lime green ones in the parks to identify themselves to other DIS'ers who may be there at the same time.

Sorry but I am still pouting about mine disappearing this week.

It is very hard to find my car in a parking lot now! My classic black Mickey head was my own little beacon.

Funny that you should mention that, because the Home Depot by us was down to just a few of the Alien Green Mickey heads too! And since I was there....well, they'd better order some new ones, since I need them to make some luggage tags for those free carry ons from Chadwicks for my DGDs!

You have to wonder what the Home Depots around the country make of all the open lime green Mickey Head slots. I am sure that sales don't come close to the popularity of the sample chips. lol Maggie

I grab a handful of all the colors when I go - one of these days I'm going to re-do my basement 'disney' and decoupage the coffee table with them all !!

It was ME....I drove up from VA, grabbed them all and left town right away...We were runnin low in VA on them, so had to make sure all my Virginia DIS people get them....hehehe.....

Everyone watch for me, I will be in a lot of areas gathering them...a crazy woman with a black mask heading for the paint section in your local Home Depot....

Home Depot in Manchester, NH has the Mickey Paint swatches (limegreen)- he went and got some when he saw your post. We'll be there in 3 days, they had plenty there.

That's so funny that this was brought up. I just finally figured out what everyone was talking about the other day with the lime green mickey heads. At first I wasn't sure what they meant and then it just hit me the other day "duh. . . the paint samples!" Anyway I haven't been to check them out myself but my brother works at the Home Depot in Tilton, NH and I could send you some. Maybe if an employee is taking some they will think it is for a "customer." They probably have no idea that us crazy DISers are stealing all their Mickey head paint chips!

The Home Depot I went to was in Methuen, MA. But there's one in Salem, NH I'm going to check out. And whoever mentioned Tilton...thanks for the tip! I'm going up there this weekend and completely forgot there's a Home Depot up there.
