ferry hopping?

We are staying at VWL in mid July. We have a breakfast ADR at Kona's at the Poly one morning and then planned to go to MK for the rest of the morning and early PM.

We will drive to the Poly and park there. After breakfast there, I am wondering if it is frowned upon or allowed for us to take the ferry from the Poly to the MK and back again to the Poly (or for that matter the monorail from there) so we won't have to go back to the WL to take the ferry from there to the MK.

Doing the latter will certainly cost us precious time against that July sun.

I believe there is a time limit if you are parking at a resort to dine there. I think it's 3 hours but I could be wrong.

You can park for free at the MK parking lot, walk over to the Polynesian and then head over to the MK.

You could also take the ferry from the WL to the MK and the monorail or ferry to the Poly.

You could also take the ferry from WL to the CR and jump on the resort monorail to the Poly. Then take either the monorail or the boat from Poly to MK. I don't think it would take too long 1st thing in the morning, and you wouldn't have to worry about what would happen to your car.

Take a cab from WL to the Poly, then you don't have to worry about going back to get your car.

Last option would be just take a taxi the distance is under a mile, and will only take a few minutes travel time.

Or ride over to Ft Wilderness, change boats, go to the Contempary, walk to the MK, get on the ferry and ride to the TTC, then walk to the Poly.

The best way would be to ride the boat from WL to MK then take the boat or Monorail to the Poly.

There use to be a boat from the WL to the Contemporary. If it is still running, go there and take the Monorail.
