ferry from WL to see Wishes and EWP

how early would you need to get on that ferry to see Wishes and/or the EWP?

The EWP will come right by the WL, not sure of the time.

I would head to the Magic Kingdom about an hour before Wishes is scheduled to start so that you can get there and get a good viewing spot.

The EWP is at the WL at about 9:35 pm.

sorry I wasnt clear in my original post
I know (cos we've seen it lots from our balcony) that the EWP can be seen from the WL
I know to go at least an hr ahead to see Wishes at MK
But what Im really asking is

If we WANT to be on the ferry while this is going on how far in advance would you get on that ferry?
