Ferry’s at Epcot resorts

How frequent are the ferry’s at the Epcot resorts? We are staying At Swan, just wanted to get an idea. I’m sure the mornings we would stroll the 20 min walk but we have a PPO breakfast at Epcot I don’t want to be late for. Trying to find out the earliest ferry time, and if I miss that I’m guessing it would be too late for the next? Is there more than one ferry? Another question, can you lift a stroller into the ferry? Obviously only if there were few travelers. Or will they make you fold always like the buses

They're not ferrys (which are quite large,) they're friendship boats. Since it's a small boat, you will have to have the stroller folded up before you board.

I don't think that they start running until 8:00 or so.

Every 15-30 minutes, depending on time of day. Start times should be posted at the docks. Or you can ask a boat CM some earlier day.

Also be aware that the boat from the Swolphin dock will go to the YC dock, then the Boardwalk dock before finally getting to Epcot. That can take quite a bit longer than just walking.

Absolutely!!! I have stayed at all the Epcot resorts. The only one it's faster to boat to Epcot from is BW. And that's only by about a minute. I seldom take the boat to Epcot, or back to the resort, if I'm at the S/D or YC/BC.

THE FRIENDSHIP BOATS ARE SO SLOW DUE TO MULTIPLE STOPS. SOOOO SLOW. If you're in a hurry you can 100% walk faster than the boats. But they are a nice ride if you give yourself enough time. Don't take the boats as a means to be somewhere faster though.

Just walk. It is always faster to walk to Epcot from any of the resorts. Unless you are mobility impaired in some way I can't see any reason anyone takes the boat, other than for fun. Even those going to the first stop beat the boat when walking

If you want to get to the gate to rent an ECV then yeah, the boat can come in handy. But it will test your patience. LOL

Only on the Villa side. If you are on the Inn side, the boat will take you so far past the entrance that if you just walked you'd get to the elevator faster since the dock location is down and away from the lobby. Walking you can cut a significant amount of time off. If you are going to the Villa side the boat would save a minute or two

I time it from when I walk past the boat dock. If the boat is just leaving as I walk by, it will beat me be a small amount of time, to Epcot. Same in reverse. However, if you're going to DHS from Epcot, and you leave at the same time the boat does, you will get to DHS well before the boat!
