Ooh it looks like Fern has completed her 1st trip, I hope we see some pictures soon!!

I understand that Fern is on her way to me, ready for her forthcoming Easer trip.

Is there anyone who will be at DLRP on or before 24th March, who would like to take care of her when we leave?

I thought I would give others the opportunity, wljet and niki are there on 24th I noticed... but if not then I will send her on to Danauk when I return home.

Sorry, I haven't been very active on here lately. My husband built me a new computer and it decided to die 3 days later. I'm also been interviewing for a new job, which found out I got today!

I too can't wait to see some croc photos too. I just realised that both crocs will be in the parks when I take Fern in a few weeks. I guess they will have to look out for one another!!

Hey guys I am so sorry I have barely posted and haven't put 1 pic of Fern the croc's first DLP trip - 'real life' has been super busy since I've came back, so I am off to my mum and dad's for a few days to chill out and get it done at the same time - just wanted to drop a line with an update!!

Not sure if this should be posted here, or if it needs a thread of its own, but here is Fern's Journal from her second visit to Disneyland Paris. Mods - feel free to move if you feel this should be somewhere else.

Friday 21st March 2008

Fern has joined kevankiki for her next trip to Disneyland Paris. Her journey this time was via the Eurostar direct service so she was very excited, as she had only been by plane before, so travelling by train was a new experience. She managed to pinch some of the sandwiches and crisps that were being munched during the journey, and even blagged a whole strawberry to herself! Arriving at 12.30pm they walked to the Sequoia Lodge, via Newport Bay, as they didn’t know the way! Check in was reasonably quick, and they had been upgraded to a Montana Room, which was located in the South Wing on the 3rd floor. A kettle was rented, so there was tea, coffee, and most importantly biscuits – Fern was home! In the hotel lobby we spotted Eeyore – he took a liking to Kimee and wanted to take her away with him. Fern was excited for a moment, as there were two double beds in the room, and if Kimee was going then she had the best chance of getting one to herself! They headed off to the park...

...and went on Phantom manor, traditionally the first and last ride, and Pirates of The Caribbean, and then they watched the parade.

Fern enjoyed her time with kevankiki, they went on lots of rides, and she enjoyed having her photo taken on Buzz, helping Annette to beat Kimee for a change too!

There was a bit of a panic when Annette lost her Dream Annual Pass, and when they went to Guest Relations the following morning they learned it had been confiscated, as someone had tried to get into the park with it that morning! Luckily Annette had reported it lost to City Hall the previous evening, so after some debate they handed it back, and bother passes were able to be renewed for a further year, as planned.

Fern managed to get on most of the rides she had not been on already, I believe that only Alice’s Maze is left on the list now. She loved being allowed to steer the car on Autopia...

She would also like to meet some of the characters, though she did see a few from a distance – Buzz Lightyear for example, and characters from Robin Hood. She enjoyed eating in Bella Notte again, and Annette’s. And when she got tired she relaxed in one of the prams outside Ribbons & Bows...

But all too soon the weekend was over, and it was time to take the Eurostar back to the UK. Fern is looking forward to her next trip to Disneyland Paris, hopefully in April.
