Fernandina Beach Hotels

Anyone ever stayed at a hotel on this beach?

I'm heading there in July for 4 days to see one of my sisters and nephew.

I figured since we want one on the beach, I need to find it and get it booked.

We need queen beds and a fridge in the room and want it right on the beach even though we know it will be more expensive that way. It would be nice if there was a breakfast place within walking distance too.

I've found a list of places and will check tripadvisor.com too but it would be great to find some folks here with personal experiences at some of the places.

We stayed at the Residence Inn a couple of times, which is one block from the beach. It's only about two years old and very nice.

I used to live there Ritz Carlton being the nicest .You can find a wide range of prices for only a short walk to the beach Of course the closer you are the more expensive. Great place to visit hope ya like seafood shrimp fest is awesome yum
