Fences Around Casey's Corner

I read reports that the area around Casey's Corner was currently fenced off but couldn't find any info about this rehab, I suspect the restaurant is still open (as nothing on the WDW site says otherwise); do anyone knows for how long this area has been fenced off? TIA!
