Female sports commentators

It really bothers me for some reason. Am I the only woman that doesn't like a female football commentator? It just seems odd to me.

If they know what they're talking about, I'd take one over a moronic ex-football player who doesn't have a clue (anyone remember Joe Nameth's attempt at broadcasting? ) any day!

It depends on the commentator. There seems to be many more bad ones than good ones at this point.

Some are very good, Pam Ward is one. She does play by play and she is very good. I also like Robin Roberts. Now she does the news but I think that she really knows sports. Some sideline reporters are more eye candy than real reporters but they can not be as bad as Eric Dickerson was. Or Ahmad Rashad.

Sorry but I don't mind women reporters anymore than I mind some men reporters.
