Thank you all so much for all of the good wishes and Pixie Dust. I passed my dissertation defense yesterday - I am now Dr. MusicMouse! After all of the work and anxiety, it still feels a bit surreal. As soon as I catch up on my sleep a bit, I will be back to DISigning. Your support meant so much to me and I want you to know how much I appreciate it!

It was my birthday on 5/10 so I remembered a few times that day and sent you bunches of pixie dust. I am sure you didn't need it though. Did you make your family call you Dr. for the day? I made mine.
funny story. I work with kids with Developmental Disabilities. They call me Ms. Penny. When I got my doctorate I told them I was now Dr. Penny. So they started calling me. Dr. Ms. Penny. Obviously, that lasted only a few days & I now I still go by "Ms. Penny".
