How do you know other DISers?
I mean, do you know them in real life?
Or did you meet someone on here and start talking to them on AIM, Yahoo!, etc?

And how did you find out about the DIS?

The only person I know on here is goofy123, Megan. We have known each other for about 4 years. We met over the DIS and somehow started chatting on AIM. We both stopped posting for a loonnng time, and I just started lurking again, and not too long ago started posting again. So I feel like I'm new here, but I have actually been here longer than most people.

There's like 7 that I talk to on the DIS chat
And 3 I talk to on AIM: AvastPirateBen, VanJoshing (idk if that's his DIS name) and grassfairy (she's cool! and she posts on the tb)

I talk to a couple people on AIM.
My mom has always talked about this place. After she joined, I posted on here with her user name. Then I just decided to make my own.

Nah I don't talk to any of the DISers on IM and I haven't met any of them in real life-well apart from my mum who posts on DIS sometimes. And she's the one who introduced me to DIS -been obsessed ever since..

I only know my mother in real life, and she only reads on here now, I don't think she posts anymore.

I've met Maester Gracy or someone for a few brief moments in MK, as my parents met them on the cruise.

I have about.. two on my MSN, and a couple on my yahoo, which I haven't been on in ages.

I have never met any DISers. But I have quite a few close friends on here. I never thought to add them to my AIM or Yahoo...but I think I will now...

My mom found this place after are first trip and I came on here with her account and eventually made my own. Now my mom just lurks but we're both obsessed.

I've taken long periods of break from the TB. When I've lost interest or something big happens in my life, but if you look I've been registered for quite a while

A few people are friends with me on myspace, and I talk to a couple people on AIM, but thats pretty much it.

I found the DIS through a google search some years ago lol. I was trying to get in my Disney fix as the trip was planned and I was having "withdrawls" from our last trip I lurked the DIS for a LONG time -- about a year really, and then became a member.

I found the friends I know best through VMK on the DIS (btw, I don't play VMK much AT ALL anymore and never visit the VMK boards anymore). AdioSkater, jazstar87, and VMK_KrazyLuke are my "closest" DIS friends. I knew them in the game and on the DIS. I know their phone numbers and we contact each other outside of the internet. Patchy and I also write back and forth through the real mail lol...not the e-mail rofl. The four of us are also active on other sites and places. We talk through yahoo and aim and also on an IRC chat online.

Just people I started talking to here on the DIS that snowballed. We talked on the forums, then in PM and then on other sites and then yahoo and so forth.

I made a ton of other great friends via the DIS also

I really don't talk to anyone outside of the DIS, theres a few I Talk to via PM.
My mom introduced me, she lurks, I lurked for a few months before I decided to get an account, which then I realized there was ateen board, and here I am today!

She told me to find out about Universal (because we hadn't been before last year) but I wound up on the TB and the DCL Boards.

yoyo93 is my buddy in real life, we made her an account a while ago because I loved it so much, and wanted her to have one.

But I know, Viking, fortierv (my dad), tiggerlvr91(my sis) and Heidi and Ciara(not sure what their names are on the dis anymore) I met Viking, Heidi, ciara, and much more on the disney cruise in this one thing called Cruisetoberfest. We all met on the dis and have been on two cruises together.
Good times, lol and we might have another cruise next year, but idk.

And I talk to Izzie on AIM
