I posted this on our old cruise meets thread, but I wasn't sure how many of you still read that one, so here is the repeat:

I would love it if we could share each others pictures! It is so fun to see things from others' points of view! I have mine uploaded to an album on snapfish. If anyone wants to see them, send me your email address and I will email you a link. If anyone has any good ones of the shows, I would especially love to see them, mine didn't turn out too great.

I too am in serious post cruise depression. I have good friends who are on the Magic right now, and boy, do I wish I was with them!

I have a question for the west coast cruisers, in Cabo, can you walk to the place where they rent Jet Skis, or do you need to take a cab? Any suggestions on where to rent from? Thanks.

When you get off the tenders, you can take a taxi over to the beach where they rent the jet skis. I think you can also arrange to rent them right there where you get off the tender. We didn't rent them, but we spent the afternoon there on the beach where everyone was riding them. IMHO, it looked a bit dangerous as they had all these watercraft things going fast, with a lot of inexperienced users, in a small space.

We didn't do this, but wish we would have. If it was the same beach area we ate at, it was a 20-25 min walk. It was hot and we wished we would have taken a cab or water taxi would have been good also. I don't know if they have people at the marina that have signs offering jet ski services, but if they do, I would think they'd have a water taxi available to take you to the beach. Just offering some info in case you don't get any other responses.

We rented WaveRunners in Cabo (6/25 cruise). We went on the Chileno Bay snorkeling tour and asked one of the employees if he new where we could rent a WaveRunner. He told us he would show us after the excursion.

He took us to a stand on the peir that the tenders drop you off that rented them. I found out latter that they don't "rent" them directly. They are a third party who collects your money. Bring cash because they wanted a 10% surcharge for credit cards.

One thing they will not tell you until after you paid is you need to pay for one direction of the round trip by water taxi that you will need. We had to pay $3 per person for our share of the water taxi trip. The trip takes less than 10 minutes.

When we tried to pickup our WaveRunner they told us none was available. This was a problem because we reserved one for one hour and the last tender was at 4 PM and it was getting close to 2:30. They sent us to the adjacent vendor and he gave us one. No additional money changed hands, we just had to sign the release. The problem was he wanted to give us one that was rated for three people, but he warned us only two should ride at a time unless the driver was very experienced.

We complained because we rented one for three people and the gave us a larger WaveRunner. It was great! :goodvibes

We got on a tender at 3:55 so we made it back it time so the ship did not sail without.

I thought that the ship would leave without you if it was not a Disney shore excursion but it turns out it is not that simple. On at least two of the three nights they waited for some people. I spoke with a CM and they said it varies how long they will wait. They only real rule she gave was they don't want to break up families. However, she did not say if they would put any of the family members who were still on the ship onshore and then leave! pirate:
