Booked our first DCL cruise this morning!

Congrats!! We didn't book the Wish because we have a b2b on the Disney Magic in August 2022. Hoping to book the Wish for March break 2023.

I am sure the ship will be great but I just can't get over the cost of a Disney cruise vs Royal Caribbean after having done both.

I agree with you. I priced it out and OMG. We can do 2 royal Caribbean cruises for the cost. And my kids love Royal.

I agree! I’ve never done RC or DCL. I have cruised NC and CC. It was pricy but my parents are getting on and I thought now or never and I’ll pay with my gift cards over the year. We are passholders so will head to the parks before or after as well.

I agree with you. I priced it out and OMG. We can do 2 royal Caribbean cruises for the cost. And my kids love Royal.

Yes it is basically twice the price. I preferred most aspects of our cruise on Harmony of the Seas over our cruise on the Fantasy. I would pick the Harmony of the seas any day. Not that the Fantasy was bad, just that the Harmony was better...and half the price.

I did, I booked Sept 30-Oct 3, 2022 for our first ever cruise. I find The Wish the perfect ship to take a first cruise on. It only cost $2511.04 US for the 2 of us. I was expecting it to be so much more expensive. We will be doing the parks for a couple days before since it’s a F-M sailing.

We're booked on the second half of your back to back! The Aug 29-Sept 2nd cruise! I am sooooooo excited to see the new boat and the new areas. I cant wait to do the Marvel restaurant. Really looking forward to hearing people's trip reports from earlier in the summer and to seeing the navigators so that I can scour them and see what I want to do!

Before this we plan to do WDW for 10 days. Also playing with the idea of Universal as well. Decisions decisions!
Whatever we decide, I am very excited that we can finish our vacay with the Disney Wish!

I did, I booked Sept 29-Oct 3, 2022 for our first ever cruise. I find The Wish the perfect ship to take a first cruise on. It only cost $2133 US for the 2 of us. I was expecting it to be so much more expensive. We will be doing the parks for a couple days before since it’s a F-M sailing.

No, we have a tentative cruise for May (dependant on whether or not we sail this September) and I would really have liked it to be 7 days.

Yep! We book Sep 19-23, 2022. Adults only trip and we will be a Castaway Cay on my birthday! Super super excited!

I didn't book for summer 2022 since we have a DCL Northern European cruise during that time.

I will likely look at booking a Christmas/New Years cruise. I'm just a little disappointed that the Wish is doing short cruises. I would likely do a b2b.

I'm really intrigued by the previews...I'm looking forward to one day cruising on the Wish. Our family plan is to cruise on each DCL ship. We've done all 4, so we're waiting to go on the Wish.

We have Harmony booked for January 2022, went on Oasis in 2020 (Jan) and also Anthem in 2018 and loved them both. Can’t wait to try Harmony too! Love Royal as well.

We are on the same sailing Aug 29 and hope to do at least a week WDW prior to embarking and 2-3 nights after after...Also thinking of mixing Universal in. Decisions indeed!
