Fees associated with flying United Airlines

I know they new rules state that they must disclose the info I am having trouble finding it or its only shown when you go to book it.


I am trying to find info on if they charge you to pick your seats? I know some airlines do this.

United does not charge to choose your seats.

If you are booking last minute and all they have left at the time of booking are the nicer seats that have an upcharge, if you don't want those, just go to the airport for your flight and let them seat you there.

Don't forget checked bag fees. If you have a United credtit card through Chase and pay using the card they waive checked bag fees, 1 bag per person for 2 people.

If you picked a coach/economy as your ticket and then choose a seat not in that category, say a "premium" or economy plus seat....you will be charged. Prices pop up as you roll mouse around the seat you choose.
