OH my goodness....all day long it has been so WINDY!!! I mean WINDY>>> my garage door is rattling, I can't walk the beach without being hit by flying sand, not from DD's either....

If I didn't know better I would definitely think there is a "storm" out there in the Gulf!

We have it on the East coast as well--palm branches came down and trash cans rolling around (trash day).

4 of my orchid clay pots have fallen off somthing and broken!! and they were heavy BIG OLD orchids!! I can't believe this wind!

Not only is it still windy here it is now turning downright COLD..........OK before all you people up north tell me I don't know what cold is, let me tell you when it's in the 30's here it feels like the teens there, because it is so damp. This wind is relentless.....although I will say I hung my sheets out on the line to dry along with other things and it didn't take long at all to dry, now I can't wait to crawl into bed tonight with sun and wind dried sheets But I will be turning the electric blanket on tonight since it is supposed to be quite cold! Oh well only a couple of days of it!

We have new construction taking place behind us. You can't believe the trash in my yard from the construction site!

I was considering putting a tether on the dog before I let him out so that he couldn't blow away. He weighs 100 pounds!

I'm in South East Florida and WOW it's been windy today. Someone down the street lost their canopy over their garage onto the street and ended up in phone/electric lines. There is a plastic bag on our porch that keeps flying by, lol. Seriously, it was tough to even drive this morning. WEIRD!

It's been windy like that here too. On the way home from WalMart a few minutes ago, we saw someone taking advantage of it. They had the old kite out and flying.

Terribly windy here today & chilly too. A few of those gusts were literally breathtaking---it'd hit so hard, it was like I couldn't breathe! I don't mind the cooler temps, but not when there's lots of wind to go with it!

It was like that yesterday. The wind was like knives. It hurt to be out in it. And it was freezing, so that didn't help.

Windy and rainy here too. It got so cold during the day that the rain turned to snow for about 2 hours! Still windy - it's whipping things around like crazy.

Wow, it's really windy here in NJ, too! They're saying winds will get up to 30mph sustained. The rain is turning to ice- I can hear it on my window. It'll be snow soon.

So odd we're having such intense weather north & south!

Very, very windy here in NC, too. DH went to Asheville yesterday on business, and it snowed like crazy this morning!!! We have had temps in the 70's for the past week or so, and within 24 hours, it SNOWED!!! No snow in Charlotte, but it has gotten COLD (well, for NC), too.
