Just booked our first Disney trip in late APril to POFQ for hubby & I, and our 4.5 and 2.5 years olds. I am finding these boards so helpful and overwhelming at the same time.

I tend to think we'll be most interested in the preschool activities. Do you need to buy tickets for the live shows like Playhouse Disney, B&TB, Lion King etc. Or are they included & you need reservations, or you just show up?? How do you find out the show times?

What other activities do you suggest. I know they'll love the water parks most & just hanging at the pool.

Ugh, this is so stressful.

All of the shows inside the parks are included within park admission. Your park guide map will give times for some of the shows, most of which run continuously throughout the day. My best advice is to be prepared to take it slow and easy. Accept that you can't do it all and listen to your children. You know they're ready for a rest when they become cranky. There's nothing worse than pushing your child beyond their limit. Your children will love WDW. My almost 3yo's favorite was the Playhouse Disney show. He also loved the Buzz Lightyear ride at MK, seeing Minnie and Mickey's house at Toon Town Fair and the Winnie the Pooh playground. Be sure to get an autograph book so your little ones can collect autographs from the characters. These are priceless moments! Enjoy!!!

Hi and welcome to the DIS!

Don't stress...you're on vacation!!!

Take a deep breath....OK?

First of all, once you pay for park admission, all attractions are included. No tickets are necessary for Fantasmic, Illuminations, Lion King, B&TB, etc.

Show times are updated weekly at this website:

Just take your time and poke around. Lots of information is in there. And also, if you're not familiar with allearsnet:

http://allearsnet.com/

That should answer almost every question you have. Plus there is always the home page of the DIS, which you can find at the top of this page, and your invisible friends here on the DIS boards!

Don't worry---you'll have a geat time!!!!

Thanks guys!! We definitely won't overschedule or plan too much. DS has Autism and he gets overstimulated sometimes, so he will definitely dictate our schedule. Just trying to get the most out of our visit they the children will enjoy! Thanks again.
