Feeling REALLY Guilty

You stay at the GF and post about your guilt feelings regarding that and that you were "cheating" on VWL as you made time with GF.

Now you are spinning off some VWL points for your latest girlfriend, AKV. Apparently, this younger one has "bigger villas" that seem to appeal to you.

Now I'm not one to judge, but it looks like you just might not be a "one resort" kind of man.

Hey, if you can keep all three resorts happy with you, more power to you!

Just remember that there is no fury like a resort scorned!

Thank you all for making me smile! For a short time I thought I would have to sell 100 SSR points, but I just couldn't make myself make that call to TSS. Now if DL DVC is announced it might just happen.

Didn't you realize you could have donated them to a worthy institution. Specifically the DISboard's DVC-Moderators' retirement fund. They then become available to any of the DVC-board moderators who are retired and would like to go to WDW.

Of course, don't even consider the fact that I'm the ONLY DVC-boards moderator who is retired while those other poor jokers still have to work.....

Well, don't let a little thing like that influence you....

I'm sure somewhere along the line I always said that OKW, er, I mean SSR, no, I guess I mean VWL, yes, VWL has always been my favorite resort.

We still have too many actually. 350 is just at VWL. We have another 300 at VB, and 450 at AKV. We are in the process of selling 450 at VWL.
That makes 1550 total. That's just too many for only my wife and me (no kids).

We, too, are limited by time rather than by points. Well, DH is...

I think in another year or so when the kids are a bit older (and I feel like I manage all 3 of them in the parks/pools alone), we may go once in a while without him. It would be sad...but hey, you gotta do what you gotta do. And I gotta go to Disney!

NOPE! not quite true. I was retired but got bored at home waiting for my DH to decide he would retire, so started second career. I can officially retire again / stop working anytime I want.

So as soon as that DISboard's DVC-Moderators' retirement fund gets big enough, I will quit so fast that it'll make booking the AKV concierge rooms seem like a leisurely stroll down Main Street. (DH can visit me).

Hmmmph! Very clever - I am still reviewing the list of DIS infractions to see if charges are warranted, but so far, this seems to be just on the right side of the DIS law.

There are a few here (and some who aren't, lol) who could learn from you! Well done!

(don't panic VWL brethren, we're still keeping enough VWL for two trips per year at VWL).

My eyes went right to it and my heart went back to a normal rhythm.

I forgive you MG. For selling the VWL contract. Buying at another resort is still under review.

I'm happy you emphasized that we only sold part of our VWL points. After all, we had 800 at VWL alone. We still have enough for two 11 month bookings/year at VWL.
If they had the GV option we would've kept'em all!!

And perhaps there is a potential new VWL groupie just waiting to pass ROFR as a result of MG deciding to sell some points.

Actually, that's what happened to us. We decided to sell VWL to buy AKV/add more points to OKW, and, as it turned out, the party who purchased our points is a member of the DIS. Two happy DIS members from one sale!

Whew!! Thanks Carol...I actually retyped it a couple of times to try to stay in the clever mode instead of the gutter mode. Wouldn't want my first DIS penalty to be for something like that!!


MG....you know we kid you because you will always be a great DIS member, even if you sold all your points (perish the thought).

OK, here is an idea. I am a carpenter/contractor. So I say lets build on a couple GVs on the end, and get rid of the dumpster view!! If Disney wont go along with it, I figure we can do it in one night while everybodys asleep, you know how things magically appear in the parks overnight. I dont see why we cant do it with a bit of Moose Dust thrown in. Hey if Ty Pennington can do it, we should be able to handle it.

Then MG can get those VWL pts back and all will be right with the World

Great idea JT....though I'm thinking they might just have to put the GV's out on Discovery Island in the middle of Bay Lake! Get those hammers warmed up!!
