Our trip will be Nov 24-28. We have our dining reservations completed and are staying at POR- my problem is finding complete information or suggestions for Must See things during this time. My son will be almost 6 when we go- this is his first time, so I want it to be amazing! I know the GF has an awesome display, but what else???

I'd recommend picking up the Unofficial Guide to Disney World or just getting a subscription to their website (touringplans.com). I got the book for our trip in 2011 and it covers EVERYTHING you could ever want to know, including ride descriptions and ratings. They also have 'touring plans' that give you a set of plans to follow while you are in the park to maximize your time. We found those to be very effective as well.

One of the best things to see is the Osbourne Family lights @ Hollywood studios. It's amazing! At Magic Kingdom, the lighting of Cinderella's castle is at 6:15pm. Is so cool! If you have a chance, the wilderness lodge is beautiful to see! At Epcot, the world showcase has each country set up how they celebrate Christmas. It's very neat. The very mery Christmas party is very fun! Make sure you see the fireworks at magic kingdom & Epcot! Hope this helps! The books are very good to go through. The more you do the research, the better! Have a magical trip! :wizard:

I completely agree - I suggest getting the UG and looking through it to figure out what things you want to do.

Also in EPCOT, each country has a performer that will tell a story of their country's way of celebrating Christmas. That is fun i think for the kids. Germany is probably the most engaging.
Taking time to really really look at the decorations on all the trees in the different parts and resorts! They are really cool. Being six he might not want to spend too much time, but they are all decorated differently.

I recommend dinner at roaring forks at wilderness lodge. Food is good. Bottomless milkshakes and your son will truly enjoy the antics of the wait staff
