Feeling Hot Hot Hot! The Rain Curse is Broken! Two Weeks of Fun in the Sun! COMPLETE

Love the pics of the fairies, especially the one with the monorail in it! We've been to Epcot a few times since they took away the F&G flowers. The place looks so naked without them!

The past two trips have been during the festival so I am having a hard time remembering what it looks like without all the flowers. :rotfl:

I'm almost all caught up, but Claire just woke up from her nap, so I'll be back later to finish catching up!

I have to say, the Pooh topiary is my absolute fave, so I love that picture!! The pics of you and your Mom are great, especially the close-up one!

Too funny that The Brothers don't like Tink!:rotfl:

I know, it is kinda funny how much hate they have for Tink.

the fairy pics are very cool, thanks for taking them all and posting them....i also liked there houses how they were in included as well.

Tinker Bell is definitely...impish?...but really only in Peter Pan. In her own movies they make her out to be pretty nice. Here's the thing, though: Peter Pan is set after her movies, so obviously the nice fairy we see in those changed eventually:laughing:!

Love all the pictures of that feisty gal! (Obviously I mean your mom;)!)

Disney is great with the details! There were tons more of those little things scattered about.
Beautiful pictures!!

Thanks!

Impish, that is a nice way to put it. ;)

Holy update batman!!!! You were a busy girl while I was gone. I loved your Italy mini-TR. I am super jealous how much you got to see. Looks like you had a fun trip though (in more ways then one  )

Love all your pictures from F&GF. I miss that time of year with Epcot all decked out in topiaries and flowers. Now that I'm thinking about it, you know the tower for Tangled? Yeah, it wasn't there anymore for our trip :sad1:

IMPISH would be a mild description of the BROS!!!:rotfl2::rotfl2:

I don't know if Alek and Erich would enjoy being compared to Tinker Bell. :rolleyes1

 I didn't even include all my stories, didn't want to completely destroy my reputation here on the boards. :rolleyes1

That is too bad, it was so pretty!

Welcome all to the third post of The Trip of sleep deprivation, lost cameras, abandoned wheelchairs and giant male p*&^%$#s carvings!

So I am sure you are all wondering what exactly me and Alek have been up to. Well tough not gonna tell, cause Lessa says we are releasing too much information about ourselves on this trip report. In fact it has caused many a fight in the household. So you know what I will tell you everything.

We live in Kingston, Jamica, Canada. You heard that right Jamaica is the newest province established in 2000. As you know Y2K was a crazy time what with drugs, llamas and computer systems crashing. Canada took the chance and decided to expand our territory to the south, Jamaica.

It was a bloody war, but we the proud Canadians reigned victorious. So know the deed is done you can all stop wondering this is where we live.

Now I have been lazy and busy with work the past few months so i have forgotten to update for the past few days of vacation. Here is a summary of stuff Lessa forgot to mention.

Day 2:

Mom sprays perfume on her legs. ???? Why?

The breaking news of that morning was someones facebook profile being deleted.

Hoo#ers must be good at Toy Story Mania. (Giggity)

As we walked out of the park there was a really tall guy who wanted a high five. I had to jump to give it to him.

Day 3:

Alek though the magic kingdom song sounded like the viagra song.

The ugly step sisters said that Tremaine once dated a pirate by the name of Captain Hand. Then he lost his hand in battle against Peter Pan.

Alek and I went swimming while Lessa watched Superman, He found a large clump of hair in the pool.

Lessa and I had the exact same argument about how I was wasting my trip by not wanting to go on Peter Pan, Snow White and Winnie the Pooh. (I.E. hour and a half long lines for a 5 minutes viewing of the movies.)

Day 4:

Lessa was mad at Alek and I for not waiting for her to take pictures. But Later when I was taking pictures she didn't wait for me. And then we pointed it out to her so she got mad.

While we were in The Nemo area I took a quiz and became a SEA EXPERT.

While in England I found an awesome diorama.

And we saw this picture.

Why is a picture of Dexter in a place like Disney World? Do they support people like Dexter Morgan?

May 15th continued

I am getting this next part of the day done quickly in two posts now so we can get onto the more "exciting" parts of the day rather than endless updates of Mom and I wandering around taking pictures. ;) Don't want to bore you all to death.

After Pixie Hollow we started to meander towards World Showcase. We were skipping over the Festival Centre as we weren't really interested in anything there.

The Cars topiaries. I think Cars has to be my least favourite Pixar movie, I didn't even go to see the second one in the theatre and I ALWAYS go see the newest Pixar and Disney animated movies in the theatre. I'll probably watch it once it is out on DVD just for the sake of watching it but I do not have high hopes for it.

Saw this lady driving by

More Cars 2 stuff: Flags of different countries made out of plants, pretty cool!

We decided to wander World Showcase, at least as far as we could since it was not yet open. It is nice to just walk the pavilions without a ton of people around.

Norway is as far you can wander on the left side of World Showcase before it officially opens. I snapped a few shots and then found a nice bench in the shade to relax on while Mom wandered and explored around on her own. It was so calm and peaceful and the temperature was just right.

Once Mom came to fetch me from my bench we made our way over to the other side of World Showcase. I wanted to get in line at the main Pixar Weekend location where a bunch of the special characters would be available for photos. It was located in the special events building between Canada and England. It was scheduled to open at 11am.

On the way over we passed the Duffy shop and I took pictures of the display that explained the Duffy story since Alek and Erich had been asking about it.

I love the idea of wandering around World Showcase when there aren't a lot of people there.

I agree with you about Cars. It's also my least favorite, and I didn't get to see the new one at the theater, which is unique for me too, since I always see the new Pixar movie. Guess I just wasn't that drawn in. Now Brave......that's definitely something I'm seeing when it comes out. ;)

I'm all caught up now!

Your flower and garden festival photos are wonderful!

Loved the dress you wore in Epcot. I admire anyone who can walk around all day in a skirt or dress because I certainly can not!

Your Italy photos are great! What a wonderful opportunity that was. You saw so many different places! We are going to Rome, Florence, and the Cinque Terre in September when my mom comes to visit us. DH and I have been to Italy before, but never to any of these places, so I can not wait! Your pictures have convinced me that I need to give myself a bit of a history lesson before we go.

Brave does look very promising! I can't wait until we get a "real" trailer for it.

I much prefer to wear dresses and skirts, I find that they are much more comfortable and I don't feel the need to constantly adjust my clothes to make sure they look okay.

I loved Rome and can't wait to go back someday and I would really love to visit Cinque Terre, it looks so beautiful! I think knowing the history really adds to the experience. I was one of the few people on my Italy trip who actually knew the history behind most of the sites we went to as I was studying Latin in high school at the time and I just love Greek and Roman history.

I didn't know you could go into WS at all until it opened. Just an ASSumption on my part I guess since I've never wandered back there until at least noon. Silly me. Guess who will be back there early get some pics without peeps next time. :rotfl: So thanks for that Lessa!

 Yep, you can explore the exterior portions of Mexico and Norway on the left side and the very front of Canada and England on the right side. You are able to walk through Mexico and Norway because of the Akershus restaurant and you can walk through Canada and England because of the International Gateway.

Greta pix as usual Lessa !!I too have wandered in the World before it opens !!It is peaceful!!!

Kingston, Jamaica huh!!!!:rotfl2:
