Feeding & Journey to Atlantis

I have seen many people talk about feeding the dolphins and doing it first thing upon entering the park. This was my plan but we also want to ride JTA so if we do that an hour after park opens will the line just be so long. Should be head straight to JTA, change then feed when the next opening is?

The dolphin feeding is at set times throughout the day. The attendant said they try to time it to coincide with the ending of the dolphin show. We went to the 3:00 feeding after the 2:30 show. Unfortunately, the only place I could find the feeding times was at the feeding area itself. I was hoping the map would indicate it or guest info could have told us. Maybe I just asked the wrong people.

I would say you could do the ride first if you don't mind getting wet first thing in the morning.
