With almost 1000 positive feedbacks I received my 1st negative! The buyer stated the item was not received yet. The buyer did not notify me by email until after they left the negative feedback - I wish they would have let me know before they did, so this could have possibly been resolved without the negative feedback involved.
My question is - with the changes eBay has made to feedback over the last year, can the negative feedback be removed or reversed when this is resolved (if the buyer agrees)? I see there is an option to request a feedback revision - but does that actually change the feedback from negative to neutral or positive, or does the buyer just leave a follow-up comment to the negative? I thought I had read somewhere that it's almost impossible to remove a negative feedback from a buyer, even if the problem is resolved in their favor. I think I also read that even though the buyer did not pay for delivery confirmation or insurance, I still have no choice but to refund the purchase price plus shipping, correct? Lesson learned - always get delivery confirmation and/or insurance! I'm off to work for the day so I can't reply on here til later - thanks in advance for any answers!
