Below are the itineraries I'm considering for Animal Kingdom and Epcot. If you Disney experts could look them over and point out any obvious problems, I'd really appreciate it!

About us: Our family is DH, myself, DD7, and DS2. DH and I like thrill rides. DD7 is excited about thrill rides, but I'm not sure if she'll chicken out at the last minute or not. She would also enjoy meeting many of the characters, especially princesses, although she recently surprised me by saying that she didn't care if she got to meet any of the princesses in MK and I could use FP's for other things if I wanted. DS2 wanted nothing to do with Chuck E. Cheese, so I'm leery about how he'll react to other characters. So, I'm not focusing on m&g's very much. We're staying offsite, so leaving for an afternoon break isn't an option. We are planning on doing RD. We're not making a huge deal about parades; we'll shoot to do the Festival of Fantasy one in MK, and that's probably it. We are not planning late nights at the park.

Animal Kingdom - crowd level 6 (according to easywdw), with AK being the most recommended park

Ride Everest at RD
Skip Primeval Whirl (heard it's one of the roughest rides, and DH has a bad back)
Ride Dinosaur
In the meantime, DS2 rides Triceratop Spin and/or plays in the Boneyard with grandparents who don't like thrill rides
Ride Safari (around 10?), probably schedule FP for 9:30
Meet Mickey at Adventurers Outpost (schedule FP for 10:30)
Eat lunch at Yak & Yeti quick service
See Flights of Wonder @ 11:30
Do It's Tough to be a Bug and wander Discover Island trails for about an hour, possibly meeting characters on the way
See Finding Nemo @ 1
Do Mahrajah trail
Go out to Rafiki's Planet Watch
Do Pangani, possibly more Discovery Island and/or Oasis exhibits, whatever we have time for
Ride Kali with FP around 4:30 or 5

Epcot - crowd level 5 (according to easywdw), with Epcot being the only recommended park

Start with Soarin, then go to Turtle Talk and Nemo ride.
Explore aquarium exhibits for an hour or so (not sure how much is really here?) If we're done in less time, maybe go ride Figment.
Try to be at Norway when World Showcase opens at 11, ride Maelstrom.
Eat quick service lunch in either Norway, Mexico, or China.
Do the Mexico pavilion, including the boat ride.
Work our way clockwise around the World Showcase, stopping to meet characters, see entertainment, or explore exhibits as we feel like it.
Be back in Future World to ride Test Track around 3:45. Hope to schedule FP for around 3.
Ride Mission Space Green (with FP) around 4.
Do more minor Future World attractions like Figment (if we didn't do it before), Living with the Land, and Innoventions until we're either done or run out of time.
Ride Spaceship Earth with FP (probably schedule it for 5).

Thank you all in advance for your help!

Seeing a few things:

Dinosaur is also a VERY jerky ride, so DH may not be able to do that one either.
Watch your time w/Mickey before lunch. You'll want to be over at Flights by 11:15 or so.
Same thing with Discovery Island and Nemo. You'll want to be at the Nemo theater by 12:30.

EP looks good!

Thanks! Do they let you take food into the seating area for Flights of Wonder? Wondering if we could just get our food and go eat while we wait for the show to start.

What time of the year are you going? When we went last week by 4:30/5 it was a bit chilly (for me anyways-mid 60's) and I wouldn't have wanted to ride a water ride at that time. Just a thought.

Sorry, I don't have an answer for that; hopefully, someone else will come along who does know. With it being a LIVE bird show, my gut says "no," but really don't know.
