Feedback on Diamond Horseshoe

What can you tell me about the Diamond Horseshoe in the MK? We always eat at CHH and are looking for a new place to try. Thanks.

I ate there two years ago with my son, his cell phone died and we had no way to contact the rest of our party. We were starving and had no reservations, we saw no line at the Horseshoe and were able to get right in. Which should have tipped us off.

The food was so so sliced pork, turkey, mashed potatoes, stuffing, salad, rolls and apple pie with ice cream. But I guess what made it worse was the rest of or party was able to get in to Tutto Italia and said it was very good.

I was thinking maybe it was not the Horseshoe it might have been Liberty Tree Tavern? It was a few buildings down from the Hall of Presidents it looked to me like it was not some place that was opened all the time only when very busy.

Normally the Diamond Horseshoe is just sandwiches. In busier times they open it up as another TS buffet option. The tukey, stuffing, mashed potato meal was probably during that time. Not sure if they still have any kind of show here but it used to be cute w/ country music and characters line dancing with the kids adn stuff. Sandwiches were turkey or ham and cheese served w/ soda and chips.

If you are talking about the TS version, we actually thought it was fine. I remember the steak (or london broil, whatever) was good. It's the same food as Liberty Tree.
