We will be on the Magic next month and we have a 6 year old and 1 year old. Initially we were going to stay on the ship on the day we are in Nassau but I saw something about day passes for the British Colonial Hilton in Nassau and now I am wondering about it. It's $60 per adult and then $30 for our 6 year old (no charge for 1 year old). You get the use of the pool facilities and private beach as well as some vouchers for food. Has anyone ever done this? If so, could you provide some feedback?

Also, it says it is a short walk to the hotel from the ship but I am wondering exactly what that means? Thanks!

I haven't gone there, but I have visited Junkanoo Beach which is a bit farther than the Hilton. I would estimate the walk to the Hilton from the terminal to be from 5 - 10 minutes, depending on how fast you walk. You walk by a bunch of shops, restaurants, and bars on the way to the Hilton. It is a very safe walk and there will be plenty of tourists heading the same way as you.

Hello, I recently did the day pass to the Hilton with my teens. It is an easy 10 min. walk, you will actually see it when the ship is pulling into port. I think it would be the easiest and best value for you're little ones. They have a small beach and pool. The vouchers will just cover lunch and a couple drinks. It's priced like an expensive resort. The AC was not working in the lobby this summer but after check in we never went back inside. Have fun!

I just purchased some passes for this yesterday actually and will be going in November! Glad to see these responses. We have a 5 year old and 2 year old and were looking for something off the ship but simple and fun for them. They love the beach so this seemed perfect. I hope you have a great cruise and enjoy the hotel if you choose to go.

Is this booked through Disney? Or on your own through another website?
I didn't see it was offered through Disney. I found it through googling family excursions in Nassau. You purchase through the Hilton. I was looking for something low key for my little ones :)

We did this pass back in August and I have to say we had a terrific time and we would do this again in a heartbeat. The food was terrific, the walk was short and the beach was beautiful. And most of all, it wasn't crowded.

Can you buy these passes "day of"? We are going in late Jan & I know beach weather may or may not be an option.

Haven't done it yet but palnning on doing it in May, seems low key, low maintenance and a good value

did you have an account on Poshmark??

Went there in 2014 off the Allure. As people have said, it's a short walk to the hotel and our (at the time almost) 4yo had no issues getting there despite a broken arm (a different story altogether). They should have towels, loungers and umbrellas for your use at no extra charge.

The credit vouchers (which can be combined) can be used for food, drinks and gratuities. The drinks come fairly quickly, but the food (which is your standard stuff) can take a long time to get there, so I'd order that around 11am if you want to eat at noon. The bill can take forever to come as well - you should be able to pay at the bar if you want to save time.
