Feedback of The Timeshare Store, Inc. to rent DVC points

Hi, I would love to get feedback of your experience renting from The Timeshare Store Inc. They have a confirmed reservation for the exact date I need it and at the resort I want but my only concern is that when reached out about it they asked me to pay in full immediately but they do not provide a contract or anything. The asked for full payment and once received they will proceed with the change of name in the reservation. I am concern about the practice of not providing a contract or any documentation other than the email asking for the payment. Thank you!

The Timeshare Store is one of our former Rent/Transfer Board sponsors, and is a reputable company. If it matches exactly what you need, and the price is right, go for it.

I purchased 2 contracts as well as having transferred points to another owner thru them. Very trustworthy.

That is how it goes and they are totally reputable. A confirmed reservation needs to be changed on the phone with DVC by the owner of the contract. Prepayment is expected and legit. Have a great trip!

I rented two confirmed reservations with another rental company. I paid. Then they reached out to the owner to change the names. Then we signed the contract. I guess they don’t go to the trouble of signing contracts until the names are changed over in case the owner never changes the names. It is a pain to do!

I have rented from them over 5 times in 2021 and loved working with them!
I did pay with Paypal upfront, but they were discounted/distressed points.
