Our party: Adult with GF/DF restrictions. Adult with no restrictions. 11 year old who helped pick after reading the menus.

Grand Floridian Cafe
Chefs de France
Tusker House
Raglan Road
Mama Melrose
Boma
'Ohana Breakfast

Looking for feedback if anyone thinks we'll have any issues with the dietary issues and whether or not anyone thinks it will be a problem to share entrees at Grand Floridian Cafe, Chefs de France, Raglan Road, and Mama Melrose.

Thank you!

All TS Disney restaurants seem to be able to work with most dietary restrictions (especially if you make note of your restrictions when making your reservations). Someone from the kitchen will come to your table and discuss your restrictions and what they can offer you - at least that has been my experience. We have eaten at all the restaurants you have listed except for Ohana for breakfast. All are good - the weakest one being Mama Melrose (again, only based on our experience). The food at Tusker House and Boma are similar - very good, but similar..and would select Boma over Tusker House...the AKL is great to explore after dinner! I have not actually shared entrees at these restaurants but would think you could - I don't remember seeing any posts or menus stating that sharing was not allowed. Hope you have a wonderful trip!

Thank you...in another group where I asked for advice, they suggested that Chefs de France was a bad choice.

I thought Boma and Tusker House would be similar but the character aspect of Tusker House is what got the kiddo excited and Boma is for the husband.

I appreciate you responding very, very much! Thank you!

I think that TH and Boma are similar, but both are good.

I woudl think any restaurant will assist with the dietary issue. If you have specific questions prior to your trip, head to the DISabilities forum. Those folks are very helpful.

I have members of my family with food allergies and all TS we have been to including buffets and dinner shows have been great. Of the ones on your list we have only done Chefs for dinner, TH for breakfast, plus Boma for breakfast or dinner. We don't do the DP so we had no issues with the 2 family members with the allergies a lot of times shared a steak with a potato or fries and vegetables for dinner.

I would do both Boma and Tuskerhouse. In fact I am pretty sure we plan to, hopefully getting a Rivers of Light package for Tusker House. I don't find them overly similar. Like you said, characters are the bonus for one, and we love going early and meandering around AKL when we go to Boma if we aren't staying there on that trip. We just love it there.

Thank you everyone! This is my first time back since 2001 and my husband and granddaughter have never been so I am a leeetttlllleee obsessed about planning this one. I want my husband to want to come back.

We love Chefs de France, Raglan Road and Boma.

Only ate at Mama Melrose once and that was 10 years ago so it has probably changed.

Never tried the others.

Grand Floridian Cafe We like GFC, its a great respite from the parks, lobster burger is tasty
Chefs de France Only been there once but the French Onion Soup still stands pout as the best part
Tusker House N/O
Raglan Road Food is good but a bit loud. Stage show is good
Mama Melrose Cant say its the best Italian on property, but its still good. If you are going solely on being in park, 50s PTC is our go to
Roma Breakfast and dinner both very good, be sure to go hungry
'Ohana Breakfast
Unless Lilo and Stitch is the draw, its a basic breakfast. Like dinner there

We love Ohana for breakfast, it is the one ressie my kids (ages 3-24) always insist on us having every trip. They even try talking us into going more than once most trips.
