Can i bring the hot dogs and white bread?

sure. I will bring the can of corn. We can mix the hot dogs and mac and cheese and corn all together to make a main dish and serve jello for desert :lmao:

that sounds so gross:sick: :rotfl:

Our rotty eats raw veggies and fruits but not meat but will eat the bones of beef it is better for there digestive system on some dogs. Rotty's have horrible digestive systems he eats what ever veggies i grow except peppers (that's just nasty what he can do with them) but he also gets dog food but it's just filler.
I'm slowly going back to raw fooding for me i find it much healthier.

That is interesting about your dog. My dog wouldn't touch a veggie or fruit, but will eat meat raw.

About your own raw food diet, my girlfriend started about 2 months ago and says she has never felt better. She is not fanatical about it bu 90 percent of her diet is raw. What do you mean by slowly getting into it. How do YOU start? I think my friend just jumped into it, I wouldn't mind slowy trying. Any suggestions for reading?

But when I had cats, they would each get their own can of food at every meal and the cans cost more than most of the Tuna I see listed here. It wasn't the highest quality cat food either.

Just mix the single can of cat food with mayo and a buffet for 64 cats!!!!

Haha :lmao: All i could think of adding to that would be canned chilli.

ohh that sounds so nasty:sick: . I do not even think we could give it away:lmao: . maybe if we had corn dogs with it:banana: that would be just totally inexcusable:teacher: :rotfl:

I'm eatting all fruits and veggies raw and avoiding meat as much as possible and drinking soy or nut milks but i can't committ unless i give up coffee :sad2: The first month when your a full fledge raw fooder is hell. Don't let anyone kid you your body detoxs it self from all the junk we put in it. I was sick for 2 wks when i first turned to raw fooding 15 yrs ago. Best book i suggest is 12 steps to raw fooding. Great book great suggestions. But the book is best start and try just eating raw nuts and fruits and veggies to start with. Your a not real fooder unless you committ 100% otherwise your just a vegan they say. I just am not ready to give up coffee. I can give up meat and cooked things but coffee no.

I've never posted on this thread, though I have follwed it since day 1! It makes for quite the read! ;) Anyways, I am soooo looking forward to tonights dinner, but that alone was way over $10! But I don't care 'cause it'll be good! :cloud9: I'll just post dinner, since there is no way I could calculate our whole day!

Dinner: Fried okra -3.99 for bag, will use 1/2 bag, plus oil for frying

Squash and Onions - squash was almost $2, onion about $1

Corn on the Cob - $1.50 for 3 ears

Cucumber slices - $1.00 for 2

Spinach Dip and Hawaiian Bread -dip was spinanch about $1, ranch mix about $1, water chestnuts about$1, large sour cream about $2. Bread was $3.99

Strawberry Cobbler for dessert (if we have room!) - strawberries were about $3, and additional for other ingredients, maybe $2 ??

Total- about $21.50 .........but so worth it!!

**oh, I guess I forgot drinks- daughter will drink milk, hubby and I either tea, cranberry juice, water, or coke (can't plan everything out!)

I like this thread to get other ideas, and to TRY to reign in my grocery spending (though $10 a day doesn't seem doable for my family). Besides, I cannot for the life of me figure out prices per item separtely! I only know about tonights dinner prices b/c I went to the grocery store today! So thanks for the ideas! :thumbsup2

We have not had vodka sauce in a while and we all love it . hmmmm I need to add this to my list also. OK this weeks food amounts are going to cost me more ..LOL

I love hearing all the ideas but being pregnant and hearing them is going to break the bank . Thankfully I have tons of meat and only need hamberger meet and fish these two weeks .

Add 3.00 to todays meal we went to mini market it's so nice today we were able to get a walk in mid afternoon and go get some soda's and icee's so i think todays total comes out to 7.00

you are such a big spender:) .. You need a support group:rotfl:

So true. My dog eats better than some of the children here.

As we are all aware, many people think of their dogs (and other pets) as their children. I am sure that your dog is very special to you to be treated like your child. ::yes::
