I'm stumped! DS just ordered flowers for his friend in SC and when he went back to check on the status of the order later it gave him a FedEx tracking number. Has anyone ordered flowers from Proflowers before? He is concerned that they will came with instructions as to how assemble them. Like insert petal here, while holding stem firmly in place. LOL.. :rotfl2:

Anyone???

Proflowers flowers are shipped direct from the grower. So, they will come to you unassembled. You'll have to take out the flowers, cut them, then put them in the vase. If they're roses, you'll have to pull off the outer petal on each rose, so the roses will open.

I love ProFlowers, but I know some people don't like "the work". :goodvibes

Hallmark flowers are delivered like that also - straight from the grower. On the plus side, you usually get a much healthier, fresher and better quality flower than you would from a florist that has them sitting in a cooler for an unknown amount of time.

I've received flowers from Proflowers and the quality is AWESOME!! They last a really long time too.

Well that’s a new experience for us. Every time we ordered/received flowers they always came arranged for us. It’s the first time he ordered flowers online and has high hopes riding on them. I guess we will find out soon enough how she liked them.

Thanks for the quick answers! I knew I could count on you guys.

Anoter :thumbsup2 for proflowers. It is usually roses that I receive from them. We, should I say DH, tried hallmark for Valentines day and I was impressed w/them, as well.

Ok, I'm confused. I just ordered from ProFlowers for my sister. I ordered an arrangement. I know they shipped FedEx. Does that mean that they sent her all the "parts" for an arrangement (flowers, container, foam) and she made it herself? Or was the actual arrangement shown on their website sent? When you talk about arranging them yourself are you just talking cut flowers like roses and tulips?

My DH sent me roses from ProFlowers for Valentines Day and they are beautiful!!! I did have to put them in the vase myself, but I didn't care. I think mine came UPS though

Yes, you have to arrange them yourself. They do not come from a florist, but from the flower grower. Apparently, it is very easy to put the arrangement together. They were previewing it on TV (our local news channel) right before Valentines Day.

It is probably not a service I would use if I was sending flower to the hospital or funeral, but definitely for home use.

I used to work as a florist and I can tell you that you it is totally easy to put together the arrangements they feature in their site.

I've used them several times to send flowers to my wife and my mom, the flowers are excellent and they have never had any problems arranging them.

I got some roses from DBF for Valentines Day from ProFlowers and they came with the vase. All I had to do was unwrap them, cut off 1" of the stems and put them in water. They came with simple instructions. They were beautiful!

I have never order them but I was the recipient of an arrangement for Christmas. The instructions were very easy to follow. The flowers are tied together to make it easier. I thought it was a great gift. :thumbsup2

Well she got them today and from what I heard they wore “to die for” :confused3 according to her. So I guess DS did well. :thumbsup2
