Federal income tax refunds

Uggh. I filed on the 18th and it was accepted that day. No info on the website and nothing in my bank. :headache:

Last year I just used my last check stub and filed the first day possible. This year, our company got bought out around May. So I'll be getting two separate W-2's. I have the information from May until the end of the year available online (year to date info, not W-2 yet) but didn't think to save my last check stub from before the buyout. They mailed those W-2's about a week ago and mailed mine TO THE WRONG ADDRESS!! I haven't lived there in almost 2 years AND lived one other place between there and where I am now! So no hope of getting that anytime soon. :headache: Waiting to hear back on whether they can reprint it for me or just give me the info at least. AND waiting for new company to put W-2's for May through end of the year online. Already have all of DH's info and everything ready to go, just waiting on my stuff..... :surfweb:popcorn:::mad: Really anxious to get it filed so we can get our refund! So frustrating!!!

FyI for all whom are still getting the error messages, on the refund online tool, mine and best freinds return are showing updated with direct deposit scheduled for FRIDAY!:goodvibes

OOOH! hey! Mine says the 29th now too!! Cant wait! I am super jealous of those who got the yesterday though.. I am just eyeballing a new stroller..:lmao:

Does it always go in the bank the day IRS says it will?? I just found out today that I have a big water leak under my house :(. I hope it doesn't cost to much!! I have a Disney trip booked for May :).

Anyone else still getting an error message on the irs website? Dh filed and was accepted on Jan. 18 and no information is available online or over the phone. :confused3

I went to H & R block Monday at 6pm, it was accepted by the IRS Tuesday AM. I was surprised at the quick email--My sister rec'd her money direct deposited (H & R) 4 days after the IRS accepted hers.

I filed on the 16th, got a message from Tax Act that the IRS was not accepting returns from them until the 18th. I got an email saying the return was accepted by the IRS on the 18th. I have been checking the return website since 72 hours after that date and have only received the "sorry we can't provide you with any information" message. I am really worried about what is going to happen tomorrow (when the DD was supposed to arrive) and have been stressing over it every day.

I filed through Tax Act early too and the IRS accepted my return on the
18th. I kept getting that same message until this past Monday - they finally updated it as having received my return and that I should get my refund by February 9 - the email from Tax Act said I would get my refund on Jan. 29.

I'm betting I don't get my DD tomorrow either.

On the IRS schedule it goes by files recieved by 11:00am, does anyone know what time zone that might be referring too? I filed at 11:16 EST and I was curious as to which week I might get my check, sooner is obviously better than later!

Well it looks like I definitely will not be getting mine tomorrow. According to Tax Act and the IRS refund cycle chart I should be, but I just called and spoke with a woman who says it is still processing and there is no deposit date set. I have no idea why people who filed a few days ago have had theirs processed and mine which they have had since the 18th is not. You would think they would file them in the order they are received but I guess not :confused3. I hope they don't take too much longer, we could really use a little extra cash.

I'm wondering if there was a problem with the with the Tax Act site resulting in a delay for those of us that used them. We filed ours on the 15th and got a message on the IRS site that it would be deposited by February 9th, despite the Tax Act site saying we should have it on the 29th. My bank isn't showing a pending deposit, so I am thinking it will most likely be next week. I wonder what gives with Tax Act though..

I called the IRS this afternoon and found out that my refund was pushed back from Jan. 29 (Tax Act' date) to Feb. 5th (IRS site says Feb. 9) because I owe some additional taxes from an error I made in 2006. That's ok - I'll wait another week to get the remainder of my refund.

Mine says Feb 9th as well. We filed on Jan 20th accepted on the 21st. State was deposited Tuesday. The IRS chart says we should receive on the 29th or the 5th as it was accepted on the 21st.

Did anyone get your returns, today, eventhough it wasn't showing up on the irs website/automated system?

Still no refund and no information on the website and I filed on the 16th accepted on the 18th. I called the IRS and they said no errors just still in processing. It is enough to drive you crazy though when you see those who filed after you getting their refunds and you know nothing.
