Federal income tax refunds

I guess on the bright side, it's coming and at least, we should get it next week. Mine says it's supposed to be direct deposited, today, but it hasn't updated in my account and nothing shows pending, yet. I was hoping to get some bills paid and buy more inventory for my business, but better late than never

I filed and it was accepted at 11pm on 1/22. Earlier in the thread I said Saturday, turns out thats just when I got the email.

Glad to see that we are not the only ones in this situation. I actually called the IRS today since nothing was showing on the "where is my refund site". They told me that it could take up to 3 weeks, but that there was nothing wrong with my account. I am just bummed cuz we are paying off credit cards and I am so excited to do it!

Got mine today, just in time for us to LEAVE WDW LOL...I have been entering the wrong refund amount in the status checker, so that explains why it could never find me.

I didnt get mine yet not that we really need it but I have agreed to help a family member and decorating a nursery for another family member. Would like to start but dont want to take it out of savings. Hopefully it will be here next friday. Website says the 7th.

Okay, I'm really getting concerned. I, still, have not received my return, yet. It was supposed to be deposited on the 29th. I spoke to the irs and they said it was deposited at the bank and it has not been returned to them. I spoke to the bank and they say they do not see any incoming deposits, at all. I verified my bank information with the irs and it's correct. I have no idea where my refund is Anyone ever heard of anything like this happening?

Filed mine via Turbo Tax on 1/28 and "Where's My Refund" says it should be deposited my 2/5! Yipee...

Did you file with a program online and have the fees taken out of your tax return? If so, the returns are first sent to the banks of these online companies where the fees are taken out and then routed to your account. The problem is that there was a routing mix up with some of the returns through certain programs this year and from what I hear some are being returned to the IRS to be sent out as paper checks, while others are simply being delayed a week or so while the banks catch up and sort things out.

My return was accepted on the 17th and I was never given any information on the IRS website or hotline. When I would call they would just tell me it was still processing. When I called again yesterday, they finally told me I now have a deposit date of 2/5, so I am keeping my fingers crossed that it actually comes that day. Apparently with Tax Act, there has been a mess up on the Making work pay form. When it tells them to enter 0 on line 10 and 11 of the form they don't and this has caused tax returns like mine to be delayed for a week.

I keep checking & the IRS website says I should receive my direct deposit on 2/9 but that's next Tuesday ? I always thought they direct deposited on Friday !

I know the $ is coming but I saw a great deal on Hotwire for Spring Break vacation & I want to pay that off & put the rest into savings. It would be awesome if I got the $ in by next Tuesday

Mine said that too...I think the system might be going wonky. I'd check it again tomorrow and see what happens. If I recall correctly, this happened last year, too...system going back and forth on where the refund is...

Thanks I did a refund anticipation loan last year so I'm not used to watching my refund status haha. Maybe its a good sign and means its about to be sent or already was sent

The site has said that for me ever since the day I filed. My return was accepted on the 17th and the website has always given me that message. The lady on the phone assured me that it is done processing now and will be deposited on the 5th, so we will wait and see.

Mine was already showing sent as of Jan. 29th and I'm getting the same message as you are. I give up...it's bound to arrive, someday

Yup, mine orignally said the 5th, then earlier today it moved to the 16th, and now I am getting the same message. I called the 800 number and entered my info and the system told me by the 16th....wierd...

Ugh. It was telling me the 9th. I called and told me the same thing even though its not showing up online.
