Fed up with 'plant based' options

We are so done with the 'plant based' options at WDW this year. We are vegetarians not vegans and like a bit of cheese and eggs in our food but since Disney started having plant based meals, the food just seems either bland or too out there. Case in point, Fairfax Fair and Rosies at HS. Thery used to serve a fried green tomato sandwich which was so yummy, then they changed to a 7 layer rice salad bowl which was also awesome but now we have soba noodle salad which is so bland or the awful Heart of Palm bowl. Then there's the Impossible options. Don't get me wrong, I like the odd impossible burger but every other sit down seems to offer large quantities of impossible meat in different variations, O'hanas, Round -up Rodeo, Liberty Tree Tavern, Sebastian's bistro. It might be just me, but I'm done with plant based food this year.

I agree that having lacto-ovo vegetarian options in addition to vegan options would be great. Disney should be able to develop a new logo that indicates "no meat." People who aren't comfortable with any animal products could still order plant-based dishes.

If I wanted something that tasted like meat, I'd order meat, not an Impossible burger. I'm fine with having them for people who do like meat, but I'd really prefer an additional option that is neither meat nor designed to resemble meat.

I totally agree! The Plant-based options include vegan cheese, which I don't like. I asked once about substituting regular cheese, explaining that I'm vegetarian, not vegan, but for whatever reason they wouldn't.
