This si my first time going in feb and i need information on clothes, shortsleeves, long sleeve, swaetshirts, jackets?? Any information that you can give me for going in feb would be great!!!!! Thanks!!!!!!!!!!! :cool1:

We will be arriving on 2/1 as well! It will be our first Feb trip so I'm no expert. We've been in December 3 times. The first time we were in shorts and tee shirts, swiming every day and hot and sweaty (this was 12/27 - 1/3) the next year (12/24 - 1/1) we were freezing and buying everyone hats, gloves and scarves. The year after that (12/3 - 12/11) we had some days where we were in shorts, some days in jeans and sweatshirts but didn't need anything more than a light jacket. I think February will be the same way...it can go either way. Average temps are lows in the 50s, highs of about 70 - 72. Probably best to watch the forecast closely right before you leave and then pack a little of everything to be able to layer as best you can.

I've been twice in FEB and it's my favorite time to go! We're going again Jan 28-Feb 5, 2007!

The temps are pretty much all over the place that time of year. Early morning is generally very cool, but warms up by 9-10 am. You could wear short sleeves most days during sunlight hours, but I usually just wear long sleeve shirts that are easy to push up when I get warm. We go back to the room before nightfall to get coats & gloves for nighttime as it gets very cold then. Last year we had 2 days of rain as well, so make sure to pack a poncho or other rain gear.

I see you have young children as well---I usually put my 2 boys in jackets with hoods in the morning, then took those off as it warmed up. I usually just put the jackets in the stroller or in our diaper bag backpack the rest of the time.

What's great is that the crowd level is really low, so you rarely stand in line...and you miss all the heat of the summer as well! Only bad thing this year is I think Rock n Roller Coaster at MGM and the Pooh ride at MK will be closed for refurbishment...bummer. But it will still be a great vacation! :goodvibes

LAST FEB i DRESSED MY dd3 IN ALL THE CLOTHING I BROUGHT FOR HER ALL AT ONCE!! lAYERS UPON LAYERS...WE WERE FROZEN ALL WEEK! bUT HAD A BLAST(A CHILLY BLAST lol)

To sum up: pack a little of everything. February weather is completely unpredictable.

You could have warm days with cool mornings, or you could have some mornings near freezing with afternoons in the 50s.

2PoohBears - where did you see that RNRC would be closed in February. We are doing to WDW from 2/2/07 until 2/9/07 and I see that Winnie the Pooh ride is closed for refurbishment, but not RNR. I will be so bummed if it is closed!!! :sad2:

We have found that Feb and Mar are the BEST times to go to WDW, especially for the climate! Perhaps we were just lucky, but the weather was awesome. That being said, we are from Michigan, so just about anything remotely mild could be considered warm. :rotfl:

Seriously, we did have perfect weather both trips. Not a drop of rain and barely a cloud to be seen. Most of the days were high 70's, low 80's. We dressed in standard summer attire. The evenings, at times, got a little brisk, usually a sweatshirt/light sweater did the trick.

I agree with the other posts, pack a little of everything with the intent to layer when necessary.

We took our 2 older kids in Feb'05 only for 2nights tho, the weather as said before was alittle of everything. The day we got there was hot enough to swim, that night at DTD we were very comfortable in shorts and tee shirts.
The next day at MK the morning was alittle chilly until about 12(we had sweatshirts) by afternoon it was hot again, then at night definitly needed our sweatshirts and could have worn pants. It also rained on us before the parade (which we were completley unprepared for and had to buy the $$ponchos) the rain only lasted about 45 min.
So unless there is a warm front moving thru that week you are there, you really need to be prepared for everything!
