Ok...a week on the boards...and I HAVE to plan my next trip!! Is February a reasonable rate time? Do you think it would be more money-conscious to buy hopper tickets seperate then a Disney hotel...or do a ultimate park hopper package that is included with my room?? What are the rates like then? Parks busy??
I've been in July...and April.... my July trip I got to ride more because it wasn't as packed...but April was cooler weather wise!

Any tips to save money will be greatly appreciated!!

I know the one thing is that Feb is cooler...so you might not want to go back to the room and swim (let alone the water parks..but they are open if you don't mind a cool breeze), also another consideration is that the parks close earlier (exc. epcot)...if you want to look at the times I go to www.laughingplace.com. You can look at the park times from last year, and hopefully that will help make a decision...I think I would choose the hoppers since they don't expire. But you might want to check mousesavers...I think in Feb DV offered 5 for 7 last year, and that might be better for you. We went in MArch in 2004, and did the DV kids play/stay for free...it was a great rate for us.

We have gone in February a couple of times and the weather was great (about 75-80 degrees).

I have been there a few times in February. The 1st time was in 2000 and we went the first week of February. The hotel prices are cheaper as it is still considered value season up until about President's Day. Weather was great that year and we were in shorts and t-shirts. We went back again the next year same time in February and it was cooler and rainy. We had 2 nice days right before we left. So, it is kind of hit or miss. This year we went in the beginning of March. Even though we had to pay a bit more for the hotel I figured the weather would be a bit warmer and it was we had an awesome week of weather. I always get the park hopper passes because they are cheaper and we don't spend everyday in the parks. My kids are younger 5 and 3 and we have a few days we just hang out at the hotel and go swimming or go to Downtown Disney and just relax and unwind, otherwise it gets to be too much for them and they need their time to rest and relax too. Hope this helps some.
