February trip!

I just booked a spur of the moment (by spur I mean 3 months in advance) trip to Disney in February! Yay . All I could get is a 1 bedroom at Saratoga and I’m not mad about it. It’s been awhile since we’ve stayed there, like 13 years. Anyways, the renovations look really nice so I’m happy about that. Any idea when/if the spa will reopen? Would love to pop in there. That being said I have waitlisted to BWV’s and hoping it comes thru. BCV is my home resort and I just love the location But I thought my chances were better at BWV given the size.

You are nowere near last minute:
DW and I several times have been at DTD for the day and decided we wanted to stay the night. Called the resorts directly (back before MS was open on Sundays) or MS and checked in within 15 minutes.

At MK for the day in Feb ’14 for our anniversary, called MS @09:00, and booked a room at BLT for that night. Checked-in @11:00 and the room was ready. We did not plan on this day going like this until @05:00 while still in bed.

Closest we ever did was a cash stay at Port Orleans. We booked a week long stay on Wednesday with our arrival being the Friday two days later.

So it isn’t too last minute. You still are beyond the dining reservation window.

We loved the trip we took in February. The crowds were as low as we have ever seen them. We only needed jackets one day and the eldest were actually in shorts and t-shirts

Rumor is the spa is not going to reopen but there is no official confirmation. At this time the spa at GF is open.
