February Questions

I think that I have narrowed down some dates for me to go to Orlando with my 4yo. I'm thinking early Feb to avoid crowds and get a value rate at WDW.

I have a couple of questions. I may just stay put at a WDW hotel and do a couple of day trips to Universal. I figure that the hassle of transferring hotels might be more difficult than the lack of FOTL at that time of year, not to mention the fact that I can probably get a much cheaper rate at a WDW value resort. I will call Universal just to make sure that they can't give me a wonderful price for a night or two.

What types of lines should we experience at Universal? I've never not had FOTL and don't know what to expect. I can try to avoid the weekends if that will help with crowds. Jake is 42" tall so we won't be going on the big rides, but am interested in MIB, Shrek, Jimmy Neutron, Spiderman, etc.

Also, what rides are scheduled to be under rehab during that time?

Thanks!

I'm fine with Dudley being closed because I don't especially like the ride, my 4yo isn't tall enough for it, and it might not be warm enough in February for a water ride.

We will be back (the whole family) in April for 3 days and can catch it then if it is open.

Thanks for the heads up! Any other rides supposed to be closed?
